English Premier League (EPL) matches are broadcast in over 180 countries, allowing fans to watch whether at home or abroad. Better still, several channels showing 2026/27 Premier League fixtures can be streamed live on Kodi. If you’d like to watch all of the action when the new season begins on August 21, keep reading. I’ll reveal which Kodi addons let you stream EPL matches, which are best avoided, and when each fixture will air.

Note: English Premier League matches will only be shown on geo-restricted channels. This means that if you’re traveling internationally and want to watch via your regular sports streaming services, you’ll need a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Comparitech does not condone or encourage any violation of copyright restrictions, including illegal streaming through Kodi. Kodi can be used for many excellent, legal online streaming purposes. Please consider the law, victims, and risks of piracy before downloading or streaming copyrighted material without permission.

How to watch Premier League online safely and privately

When connected to a Virtual Private Network, your internet traffic is encrypted and sent through a server in a location of your choosing. This enhances your privacy by keeping your activities hidden from snoopers and also lets you access geo-blocked services while traveling. A reliable VPN can also protect you from malicious addons looking to store details of your online activities, hijack your connection, or record your real IP address.

Because streaming requires a large amount of bandwidth, we recommend using a reliable, fast, and secure VPN provider such as IPVanish.

IPVanish is a popular choice with the Kodi community. It provides stable connections, exceptional streaming ability, and superior privacy protection so your ISP can’t snoop on you. It works with all Kodi addons I’ve tested and is one of the few VPNs fast enough to prevent buffering problems.

Stream Premier League on Kodi without cable

There are plenty of ways to watch the Premier League, even if you don’t have cable TV. Cordcutters can simply sign into one of the Kodi addons below and live stream every minute of the contest from the comfort of their couch. What’s more, the addons I’ll recommend use official sources, so they’re all completely above board.

Hulu

Stream Premier League on Kodi with Hulu

With a Hulu + Live TV subscription (currently $88.99 USD per month), you can watch EPL directly on Kodi. Just install the Hulu addon from the SlyGuy repository, enter your login details, and get started.

You’ll be able to live stream NBC Sports Now and USA Network, meaning most games will be available. However, around 170 fixtures per year are exclusive to Peacock, which doesn’t yet have a working Kodi addon.

Sky Sport Now

Watch PL on Kodi with Sky Sport Now

In New Zealand, the English Premier League is exclusive to Sky Sports. The SlyGuy repository actually has two addons dedicated to this network: Sky Go and Sky Sport Now. The former requires a cable TV subscription whereas you can log into the latter with your Sky Sport Now account. Don’t have one yet? No problem: prices start at $29.99 NZD for a one-day pass or $59.99 monthly.

ESPN

ESPN is the official broadcaster of the English Premier League in many Central and South American countries. These include Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, and Ecuador. In many of these countries, ESPN comes bundled with Disney+ Premium, though prices vary based on your location. Simply enter your login details into the Kodi app and start streaming.

Pluto TV

Believe it or not, you can stream NBC Sports Now for free using the Pluto TV addon. You’ll find this in the SlyGuy repository. Be aware though: while this channel does occasionally show live games, it’s mostly dedicated to analysis and match highlights.

Unofficial Kodi addons for Premier League

Though they may be popular and boasted positively by other sites, third-party addons not found in the Official Kodi addon Repository or another legitimate library often contain pirated content that isn’t safe for viewing. Some of those unsanctioned addons include:

  • The Crew
  • Sport HD
  • Mad Titan
  • The Loop

Using these addons carries significant legal and cybersecurity risks. You could be hit with a settlement letter demanding compensation for piracy, and your internet service provider could throttle your internet connection. Unofficial Kodi addons also carry a much higher risk of malware than those in the official repo.

We strongly recommend sticking to official, legal sources for streaming.

Stream Premier League online without cable

If you don’t have access to cable, there are plenty of official streaming services that show live Premier League games. Some even offer trial periods so you can watch for free for a limited time.

Peacock

NBC-owned streaming service Peacock is the exclusive broadcaster of around 170 Premier League games. Prices start at $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year. There’s no free trial on offer however.

Peacock is only available in the USA, so use a VPN if you want to stream it while abroad. Peacock also offers full on-demand replays. It’s a slightly newer service, so there’s no official Kodi addon yet, but stay tuned.

FuboTV

FuboTV is an American sports streaming service that provides users with live video on any device including Android phones, tablets, iPhones, and more. It has access to many sports channels such as NBC Sports Network, where you can watch Premier League matches. The app is available on Roku and any Apple or Google Play store. Check out the free trial of FuboTV here.

Fubo TV is available in several countries, but be sure to check the channel list for your specific country to ensure you can watch the Premier League. You could also switch countries with a VPN. Prices start at $54.99 USD per month.

Sling TV

Often called “A la carte TV,” Sling TV is an internet service, created by Dish Network, that streams almost any channel you want. While Sling Blue ($45.99 monthly) includes the USA Network, availability of other NBC channels is location-dependent. Unfortunately, Sling TV no longer offers a free trial.

Sling TV is only available in the USA. If you’re traveling internationally, you’ll need to use a VPN to get a US IP address to access it.

DirecTV Stream

DirecTV Stream (formerly AT&T TV NOW) offers live streaming plus on-demand features that you can watch on your TV, computer, or smartphone. Prices start at $59.99 per month, with access to CNBC and USA Network. You can select all the sports channels you want to live stream and cancel the package at any time. Plans include a five-day free trial.

Youtube TV

YouTube TV includes all of the channels you need to watch Premier League games as they happen, including NBC, USA Network, and CNBC. Sports packages start at $54.99 per month, and there’s a 10-day free trial on offer at time of writing. Youtube TV is only available in the USA, so you’ll need a VPN if you’re traveling elsewhere.
